INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Earlham College track and field team opened its indoor season at the Scott Fangman Invitational hosted by IU Indianapolis on Saturday.
Isa Slone broke the school record in the Indoor Long Jump, with a mark of 5.2 meters to finish in third place.
Prynces Robinson finished in fifth place in the triple jump, recording a leap of 10.69 meters on her second jump of the day. Robinson placed sixth in the long jump with a mark of 5.08 meters.
Alex Ball placed fifth in the high jump after clearing 1.43 meters.
Sofie Kurrasch finished in third place in the pentathlon on Friday evening, scoring 1815 points. Slone had scored 2090 points, but did not run the final event.
Logan Brown jumped 5.88 meters in the long jump to post the third-best mark in the HCAC at this point.
Robert Griffin Walker ran a new PR in the indoor 200 meter dash, clocking in at 24.69.
The Quakers will return to action after winter break at Purdue Fort Wayne on January 17th
