RICHMOND, Ind. – The Earlham College men's lacrosse team returns to action on Wednesday afternoon with a home-opener against Alma College in Darrell Beane Stadium.
THE SCHEDULE
After Alma, the Quakers travel to Wabash College for the first of three home games on Saturday. Earlham will then play at Heidelberg, and at Thomas More before hosting Wilmington College in the Quaker Bowl on March 8. The Quakers begin Spring Break at home against Beloit College on March 11, and then travel to North Carolina to take on Brevard, and Warren Wilson. Washington and Jefferson come to visit on March 20, while Earlham hosts La Roche University in the final non-conference game on March 29. Earlham alternates home and away games in the HCLC schedule, first hosting Spalding on April 5 at 1 pm. After a trip to Transylvania, the Quakers host Anderson University, and conclude the season at Hanover on April 19.
THE PLAYERS
Robbie Gift led the Quaker offense last season, scoring 38 times, and dishing out 31 assists. Gift led the HCLC in points, assists, and tied the conference lead in goals, and was named First Team All-HCLC. Junior
Ryan Polack scored 19 goals with 14 assists last season while posting a .615 shots-on-goal percentage.
Elijah Gamber returns to the roster as a graduate student, having played in 39 games with 39 goals in his career.
THE COACHES
Taylor Lanzillo returns for his third season at the helm of the Quakers, once again joined by assistant coach Colin Tolsma. Since taking over in 2023, Lanzillo has led the Quakers to their two best seasons in program history, garnering a combined 11 wins and a trip to the HCLC postseason.
HCLC OUTLOOK
Last season, the Quakers finished in fourth place in the HCLC standings, posting a 7-7 record in the regular season.
