NEW CONCORD, Ohio – The Earlham College track and field team continued its season at the Muskie Invitational on Friday.
Ethan Rose took two wins on the day. The junior won the men's mile run after recording a finishing time of 4:56.1, and won the 800 with a 2:02.27.
Cleo Saltz took home a third-place finish in the women's mile run, posting a new personal record of 5:32.96.
Sammy West scored a new PR, and finished in seventh place with a 6:12.37.
Anthony Gough led a trio of Quakers scoring in the men's 3,000 meter run with a fourth-place finish and a time of 9:49.1.
Peyton Chanley and
Jaden Hawthorne also scored in the event.
Akiko Tajima and
Katelyn Trotto scored in the women's 800 meter run, finishing in fifth and sixth place respectively. Tajima recorded a new personal best with a finishing time of 2:49.44.
Sofie Kurrasch finished in eighth place, scoring two points for EC.
Michael Pacheco ran a new PR in the 1,000 meter run to take fourth place with a time of 3:02.91.
Micah Williams ran a new PR, and scored a fifth-place finish in the 400 meter dash with a 56.88 in the two-lap race.
The Quakers will cap off the indoor season next weekend at the HCAC Championship meet hosted by Anderson University.
