Box Score 2 ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Earlham College men's tennis team split a tri-match at Principia College on Friday evening in St. Louis.
MATCH ONE: EARLHAM 2 PRINCIPIA 5
The Quakers fell 5-2 in the first matchup of the day.
Dev Agrawal and Pedro Conci Rodriguez took a win in No.3 doubles 6-4.
Jackson Swopes earned a win at No.5 singles 6-3, 4-6, 10-7 , and Devbrat Das won his No.6 singles match 6-0, 6-3.
MATCH TWO: EARLHAM 5 ILLINOIS 2
Dreek Saha and
Ivan Wularu won the No.1 doubles matchup with a 7-6 final score. Agrawal and Conci Rodriguez won their second battle of the day at No.3 doubles 7-5.
In singles, Wularu took the No.1 spot with a 6-3, 6-0 win. Agrawal won at No.2 after falling behind early with a 3-6, 6-3, 1-0 result. Swopes won in the No.4 spot 6-3, 6-2, and Das won the No.5 spot with a 6-0, 6-4 score.
The Quakers get into spring conference play tomorrow at Berea College.
