ANDERSON, Ind. – The Earlham College track and field team continued action on Saturday afternoon at the AU Invite hosted by Anderson University.
Sofie Kurrasch won the women's 600 meter run, clocking a time of 2:03.47 in the unique event. The freshman also scored points with an eighth-place finish in the 800.
Prynces Robinson won the triple jump after posting a leap of 10.24 meters (33' 7.25") in the finals. Robinson also took fourth place in the long jump with a mark of 4.92 meters (16' 1.75"). Robinson was the highest finishing DIII competitor.
Ethan Rose scored a podium in the 800 meter run with a finishing time of 1:59.94 in the final. Rose was less than .5 off of second place, and over three seconds clear of fourth.
Sammy West finished second in the 1,000 meter run with a total time of 3:39.13.
Owen Trotto took fifth place in the men's 600 meter run after taking three laps on the track in 1:40.73.
Cleo Saltz finished the mile run in sixth place, recording a time of 5:42.59.
Don Papa Fall scored eighth place in the 1,000 meter run with a time of 3:01.86.
The Quakers will be back in action next weekend at Mount St. Joseph University.
