Track and field takes on Spring Break Challenge

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – The Earlham College track and field team competed in the Myrtle Beach Collegiate Challenge over the Spring Break weekend. 

Competing in her first collegiate 400 meter dash, Isa Slone ran a 1:03.99 in the open 400. The sophomore finished in 48th place out of 72 starters. 

Ethan Rose ran a time of 16:23.32 in the men's 5,000 meter run to finish in 28th place. 

Sofie Kurrasch competed in her first collegiate 400 meter hurdles with a time of 1:20.88. 

The Quakers return to action on Saturday at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
