WILMINGTON, Ohio – The Earlham College track and field team battled wind and rain at the JennaStrong Invitational hosted by Wilmington College on Saturday.
The women's team finished in eighth place, scoring 32.5 points. The men scored three points to finish in 14th place.
Prynces Robinson scored a third-place finish in the long jump with a leap of 4.62 meters (15' 2").
Cleo Saltz scored three points with a sixth-place finish in the 5,000 meter run with a finishing time of 18:51.38. Saltz also scored a seventh-place finish in the women's 1500 meter run with a time of 5:02.85.
Ethan Rose ran his way to a sixth-place finish in the men's 800 meter run, clocking a time of 2:01.04.
Isa Slone and
Giulianna Russell tied for fourth place in the women's high jump. Both Quakers cleared 1.42 meters (4' 7.75").
Alex Ball also scored in the high jump, clearing 1.32 meters (4' 4").
Lex Gibson scored points in the discus, finishing in sixth place with a mark of 32.02 meters (105' 0").
Earlham will hit the track again next weekend at the Indiana DIII Invitational hosted by DePauw University.
