RICHMOND, Ind. – The Earlham College baseball program is welcoming Josh Slade as its newest Assistant Baseball Coach for the 2025-26 season. 

Slade will serve as pitching coach for the Quakers, taking over a rotation that is expected to return all three starting arms from last season.

Slade is a 2023 graduate of Bluffton University in the HCAC, and has served as a graduate assistant coach at Heidelberg University for the past two seasons. He was named to the 2023 HCAC Sportsmanship Team with the Beavers. 

At Heidelberg, Slade mentored D3 Pitcher of the Week, first team All-OAC, and All-Region Pitcher Jackson Powers in 2024. In his second season with the Student Princes, Slade led Dylan Matusak to second team All-OAC honors.
