FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Earlham College track and field team returned to action at the Mastodon Invitational hosted by Purdue Fort Wayne on Saturday afternoon. 

Isa Slone finished in third place in the women's long jump, breaking her own school record with a leap of 5.23 meters. 

Alex Ball placed eighth in the women's high jump after clearing 1.4 meters on her first attempt. 

Logan Brown placed ninth in the men's long jump after posting a mark of 6.04 meters in his first run down the lane. 

Nyah Herbert joined Slone in the women's 200 meter dash. The pair finished in 16th and 15th place respectively, with both athletes running sub-30 in the one-lap race. 

Earlham will hit the track again next Friday at Cedarville University.
