CEDARVILLE, Ohio – The Earlham College track and field team competed in the Cedarville Indoor Invitational hosted by Cedarville University on Friday evening.
The Quaker women's team finished in fourth place overall with 35 points, while the men scored a seventh-place finish with four points.
Isa Slone once again raised the mark on her long jump record, leaping 5.28 meters (17' 4") on her third jump of the evening.
Prynces Robinson won the women's triple jump, posting a 10.55 meter (34' 7.5") mark on her fifth and final attempt.
Alex Ball cleared 1.47 meters for a new lifetime PR in the high jump. Ball earned a third -place finish in the event.
Luka Pavelka scored an eighth-place finish in the weight throw and shot put to begin his Quaker career. Pavelka tallied a mark of 8.44 meters in the weight throw, and 10.09 meters in the shot put.
Logan Brown scored points with an eighth-place finish in the long jump with a leap of 5.80 meters (19' 0.5").
Cleo Saltz finished in ninth place in the 3,000 meter run with a season-best 11:08.32. Saltz was the top DIII finisher in the event.
The women's 4x200 meter relay team finished in second place with a time 1:54.7.
Earlham will be back in action next weekend at Muskingum University.
