NORTH GREENCASTLE, Ind. – The Earlham College track and field team competed against top talent at the Indiana DIII Invitational hosted by DePauw University on Saturday.
The Earlham women finished in sixth place as a team, scoring 31 points while the men finished in 12th place with three points.
Isa Slone set yet another program record in the long jump, claiming second place with a leap of 5.29 meters.
Prynces Robinson took second place in the triple jump with a mark of 10.57 meters. Both Quakers were the highest finishing HCAC athlete in the event.
Cleo Saltz took second place in the women's 3,000 meter run, clocking in a time of 11:07.19 to be the highest HCAC finisher in the race.
Alex Ball cleared 1.43 meters to finish in third place in the high jump.
Anthony Gough scored points for the men with a sixth-place finish in the 1,000 meter run. Gough tallied a finishing time of 2:46.12.
Sofie Kurrasch finished in eighth place in the 400 meter dash with a time of 1:08.27.
The Quakers will hit the track again next weekend at Mount St. Joseph University.
