CINCINNATI, Ohio – The Earlham College track and field team continued its indoor season at the MSJ Last Roar on Saturday.
As a team, the Quaker women finished in sixth place, while the men came home in eighth place.
Nyah Herbert won the women's 400 meter dash in a new PR time of 1:03.84. Herbert finished nearly half a second ahead of the second-place finisher from Mount St. Joseph.
Sofie Kurrasch also scored with a fifth-place finish in 1:08.14.
Anthony Gough scored a third-place finish in the men's 800 meter run, finishing just three seconds behind the event winner from Hanover. Gough ran a season-best time of 2:06.9.
Cleo Saltz finished the women's mile in third place, crossing the line at 5:31.46. Saltz later scored a fourth-place finish in the 800 meter run with a new PR time of 2:34.64.
Logan Brown scored with a sixth-place finish in the long jump with a leap of 6.25 meters on his second attempt.
Alex Ball took seventh place in the women's long jump with a leap of 4.40 meters. Ball also finished the women's 200 meter dash in eighth place, clocking in at 30.19.
The Quakers will compete in the HCAC Championship meet next weekend at MSJ.
