CINCINNATI, Ohio – The Earlham College track and field team competed in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship meet on Saturday at Mount St. Joseph University.
The Quaker women finished in fifth place, scoring 46 points while the men finished in 10th place.
Prynces Robinson won the women's triple jump after setting a mark of 10.91 meters. Robinson won the event by nearly 80 centimeters. Robinson also placed third in the long jump, joining
Isa Slone who finished in second with a leap of 5.29 meters.
Cleo Saltz scored a fifth-place finish in the 5,000 meter run with a time of 18:42. Saltz finished in seventh in the women's mile run with a time of 5:28.16. Saltz also finished seventh in the 3,000 meter run after posting a time of 10:53.99.
Alex Ball cleared 1.47 meters to finish in sixth place in the high jump.
Nyah Herbert finished in seventh place in the women's 800 meter run, clocking a time of 2:29.15 to score two points for the Quakers.
The Quakers will have a last chance meet at Ohio Northern University on March 7th, and travel to Myrtle Beach for its Spring Break meet on March 14th.
