ANDERSON, Ind. – The Earlham College track and field team continued its indoor slate at Anderson University on Saturday.
The women's team scored 69 points to finish in fourth place overall, while the men finished in sixth place with 27 points.
Prynces Robinson won the women's triple jump, posting a leap of 10.78 meters in the event. The mark puts Robinson atop the HCAC leaderboard just three weeks out from the conference championship. Robinson also placed fourth in the long jump, reaching 4.76 meters.
Competing in just her third collegiate meet,
Nyah Herbert ran a new PR to win the women's 800 meter run with a time of 2:31.85. The time jumps Herbert up to sixth pace in the conference rankings.
Isa Slone took second in the women's long jump with a mark of 5.11 meters.
Logan Brown scored a third-place finish in the men's long jump with a leap of 6.11 meters. Both Quakers are currently in the top three in the conference rankings.
Cleo Saltz ran a time of 19:12.75 to take second place in the 5,000 meter run.
Peyton Chanley and
Levi Call finished in fourth and fifth place respectively in the men's race. Gough also scored a podium in the 1,000 meter run with a time of 2:48.37.
Sammy West scored a third-place finish in the mile run after posting a new personal best time of 6:06.51.
Earlham will be back in action next weekend at the DePauw Indiana DIII Invitational.
