RICHMOND, Ind. -- The Earlham College men's tennis team delivered a strong performance on Sunday, earning a 5-2 win over Indiana University Southeast on Senior Day. After dropping the doubles point, the Quakers responded with authority in singles to take control of the match.
Ivan Wularu and
Christos Xirokostas led the way in doubles with an impressive 6-2 win at No. 1.
Dreek Saha and
Dev Agrawal dropped a tight match 5-7 at No. 2, while
Sanjil Magar and
Zinedine Purbo fell 4-6 at No. 3.
Earlham dominated singles play, winning five of six matches. Wularu set the tone at No. 1 with a 6-2, 6-2 win, while Xirokostas battled through a three-set victory at No. 2 6-3, 1-6, 10-7.
Juan Diego Pachon Hernandez at No. 3 earned a 6-3, 6-4 win, and Saha delivered yet another dominant 6-0, 6-0 performance at No. 4.
Dev Agrawal capped off his Senior Day with a strong 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 6 to help seal the team victory.
