RICHMOND, Ind. -- Earlham College Softball is excited to announce the hire of new assistant softball coach Allie Book. Book comes to Earlham after completing an accomplished career at Messiah University in Mechanicsburg, Pa.

"Allie Book's instant accomplishments and experience are exactly what this program needs to keep moving forward in our development. I am thrilled to have her aboard and working with her on the coaches' side of the game," said Head Coach Goyette.

During her tenure at Messiah, the Falcons were two-time regular season and MAC Commonwealth Champions, earning berths to the NCAA DIII Regionals.

Book, a four-year starter at Messiah, competed in a total of 173 games. As the anchor at 1st base, she recorded 960 put outs with a fielding percentage of .987, earning her the MAC Commonwealth Defensive Player of the Year in 2026. A consistent contributor at the plate, Book posted a career BA of .393 and is the sixth player in program history to be in the 200 Hit Club.

Additional accolades to Book's softball accomplishments are, two-time NFCA First-Team All-Region V Honoree, 2026 All-MAC Academic Team, and three-time MAC Honor Roll.

Prior to her attendance at Messiah University, Allie is a 2022 graduate of Fallston High School in Maryland.

While at Earlham, Allie will be involved in all program operations and facets of program management.
