RICHMOND, Ind. — Earlham College Head Track Coach Nick Johnson announced the team awards for the 2013 outdoor season on Wednesday.
Marq Dixon (Indianapolis, IN, Pike) led the way for the Quakers with two of the six awards. He was named the Most Outstanding Performer for the men's squad, while also earning the honor as the Most Improved Performer
For the women's team,
Joy Doucette (Berwyn Heights, MD, Eleanor Roosevelt) was selected as the Most Outstanding Performer. Doucette was All-Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Second Team in the 100-yard dash, while also earning a spot on the All-HCAC Sportsmanship Team.
Emma Hauser (Athens, OH, Athens) was the Most Improved Performer for the women.
The Most Outstanding First-Year Performers were
Travis Smith (Vienna, GA, Indianapolis Tindley) for the men and
Britney Ware (Chicago, IL, St. Scholastica) for the women.
