SPRINGFIELD, Ohio - The Earlham College men's cross country team finished fourth at the Wittenberg Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 11.
Austin Burt led the Quakers with a time of 26:53.8, which put him in sixth place in the 8K race at the Clark County Fairgrounds.
The remaining top five runners for the Quakers were Connor Del Carmen (27:37.2, 19th),
Ian Gorley (27:48.1, 26th),
Alexander Roberts (27:54.9, 30th) and Davis Rock-Jones (28:58.6, 57th).
DePauw University won the 11-team event, while the Quakers took fourth thanks to a tiebreaker with Wittenberg.
Keanan Ginell of Denison University was the top individual with a time of 26:17.3.
Earlham's next meet is the Live in Lou Cross Country Classic in Louisville on Saturday, Oct. 2.
