BLUFFTON, Ohio – The Earlham College women's soccer team concluded its 2024 campaign with a 2-0 loss at Bluffton University on Wednesday afternoon.
Despite 10 combined shots on goal in the first half, the teams remained scoreless heading into the halftime break.
The Beavers took the lead in the 71st minute of play with a second-chance goal. Bluffton then scored a goal in transition in the 85th minute of action.
The Quakers were outshot 25-19 on the day.
Makayla Hurrey brought in nine saves.
Mallory Smith led the Quakers on offense with five total shots,
Quinn Doden took four.
The Quakers conclude play with eight points and a 2-5-2 record in HCAC competition. EC finished in seventh place in the standings.
