RICHMOND, Ind. — The Earlham College baseball team has added two new assistant coaches ahead of the 2025 season. 

Matthew Rehfeldt and Brandon Wilson bring new perspectives to the coaching staff for 2025 as assistant coaches.

Rehfeldt was a part of the 2024 MIAA Championship staff at Kalamazoo College, which oversaw a 30-win season by the Hornets. In 2024, 11 individual records were broken, with six all-conference players and one All-American.

Rehfeldt is a 2020 graduate of Olivet, where he was the team's closer his junior and senior seasons. Rehfeldt earned MIAA Pitcher of the Week honors in March of 2020. 

Wilson joins the Earlham coaching staff after six seasons with Bluffton University.

Wilson played for the Beavers for four seasons as an infielder, and spent two years as a graduate assistant at Bluffton. In 2023, the Beaver coaching staff was named Coaching Staff of the Year.

In addition, Blake Peterson has been named Associate Head Baseball Coach after leading the Earlham pitching staff for the past two seasons. 

Steve Sakosits remains head coach for his 15th season with the Quakers. Kevin McGee, Brandon Pennington, and Patrick Flanagan remain with the Quakers for 2025.
