CINCINNATI, Ohio – The Earlham College women's soccer team battled Mount St. Joseph University with a 3-1 loss on Saturday evening in HCAC play.
The Lions scored in the 33rd and 41st minute to carry a 2-0 lead into halftime. The hosts then added a final goal in the 54th minute of play. In the 80th minute,
Stella Shannon scored her first goal of the season on a penalty kick.
Liz Godfrey opened the game in goal, and made three saves through the first half of play.
Reyna Dalton closed out the match with four saves in the second half.
Earlham is set to host Franklin College on Wednesday at 3:30 pm in Matlack-Messer Stadium.
