CARMEL, Ind. – On Tuesday, the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference announced the winners of the weekly Athlete of the Week honors for softball and baseball. This week, Earlham College pitcher Morgan Cooksey was named HCAC Pitcher of the Week.

Cooksey was dominant in the circle last week in Florida with a .91 ERA over 23 innings. The sophomore threw complete games in all three of her starts, and made one relief appearance with a 2-1 record. Cooksey tallied 25 strikeouts, with three earned runs on 10 total hits.

The Quakers continue play tonight at Centre College with a doubleheader beginning at 5 pm.
