CARMEL, Ind. – On Tuesday, the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference announced Earlham College sophomore Morgan Cooksey as this week's HCAC Pitcher of the Week.

Cooksey threw two complete games this week with a 1-1 record. The sophomore went a total of 12 innings with seven hits, three earned runs, and 14 strikeouts. Cooksey led the Quaker pitching staff with a .92 WHIP, and a 1.75 ERA.

This is Cooksey's second honor of the season.

Earlham went 2-2 on the week, with splits at Centre College, and Wittenberg University. The Quaker softball team returns to action tomorrow afternoon in Ellie Bewley Stadium with the Quaker Bowl against Wilmington College. First pitch is scheduled for 3 pm.
