RICHMOND, Indiana – Former Earlham College women's soccer standout
Lydia Harvey, who has been the Quakers' assistant coach, will serve as the program's interim head coach for the 2021 season.

Adam Hutchinson, Earlham's director of athletics.
Harvey was a four-year member of the Earlham women's soccer team from 2015 to 2018, playing in 64 games while making 61 starts as a member of the squad's defensive unit. A team captain during her final three seasons at Earlham, Harvey tallied her lone point during her senior season, when she was credited with an assist in Earlham's win over Grace Christian College. Harvey was the Earlham women's soccer selection to the 2018 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Christopher M. Ragsdale Sportsmanship Team.
Harvey is a 2019 graduate of Earlham College. She majoring in psychology at Earlham with a minor in biology.
Earlham women's soccer begins preseason practice on August 13, and the Quakers open their 2021 season on Wednesday, Sept. 1, on the road at Muskingum University.
