Earlham College

Claimed as one of Earlham’s finest teams ever, the team set a precedent and performance to emulated and a goal to be surpassed. This Quaker squad won 25 games, losing only 3, and brought Earlham the school’s first Hoosier College Conference basketball championship. This remarkable team finished sixth in a final NAIA ranking. In just 28 games, this team scored 2,846 points and averaged over 100 points per contest. The team under the direction of legendary coach Del Harris was the first Earlham team to receive national recognition and ranked in the top 20 of all small colleges by the Associated Press.
