Earlham College

A four-year letterman in both football and basketball and one-year letterman in track, James Jones was the captain of the football team and earned the most valuable player award in his senior season. Jim was an honorable mention all-Hoosier College Conference football player in his junior season and the recipient of the E.P. Trueblood award as a senior. After his time at Earlham, Jim spent 41 years in the field of athletics, 22 years as a coach and 19 years as an athletic director. In 2000, Jim was inducted in the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame.
