Libby Maudlin Donathan earned National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) All-America third-team basketball honors as senior captain of the 1986 women’s basketball team at Earlham. The first woman to score more than 1,000 career points for the Quakers, she set 17 school records and established a national record by making 21 consecutive free throws. Maudlin was a four-year letter winner and two-year captain in both basketball and volleyball, and she was named Earlham’s 1986 female senior athlete of the year. Following graduation, she continued her education at the United States Sports Academy and earned a MS degree in fitness management. Professionally, Maudlin has served the Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio, in numerous roles and was promoted to manager of the Center for Health Promotion in 1994.
