Hall of Fame
Markous Jewett has been inducted into the Hall of Fame for excellence in the men’s basketball program.
A psychology major, Markous was seventh in school history for points (1,546) and finished his career ranked 15th among North Coast Athletic Conference all-time scoring leaders.
During his senior year in 2007, he was a First Team All-NCAC selection and was a two-time honorable mention for the same award in 2004 and 2006.
During a contest against Wittenberg in 2007, Markous scored a career-high 31 points and went 13-of-18 shooting from the field.
In 2006, he was named to the All-Tournament Team for the Midway Classic. He led Earlham to championships at the Lon Varnell Classic (2002) and the Equinox Tournament (2005), and to the semifinals during the 2006 NCAC Tournament.
