Tiffany Harris was one of the most dominate runners in the history of women’s cross country and track at Earlham College. She competed for three years in each sport, while studying in Senegal her junior year.

As a senior, Harris was Earlham’s top finisher in every cross country meet in 1993. She won the Wilmington Invitational and was All-North Coast Athletic Conference First Team, All-Region and qualified for the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Div. III National Championships.

In track, Harris earned All-NCAC honors in four different events in her career while establishing Earlham standards in the mile run, 3,000 meters and 5,000 meters (indoors), 3,000 meters (outdoors), while also participating on record-setting relay teams in the distance medley and 3,200 meters. Her 3,000-meter record of 10:33.13 set in 1994 still stands.

Harris won a Watson Fellowship as a senior and spent the following year studying Senegalese immigration into France.
