Earlham College

Erica Nicholson Gentry was one of Earlham’s most outstanding female athletes. Gentry played varsity field hockey for four years and was captain of the undefeated hockey team her senior year. She was selected all four years to play on the Great Lakes regional team at the national field hockey tournament. In the fall of 1971, she was named to the U.S. Reserve Field Hockey Team. She was also selected to play on the regional team at the national lacrosse tournament in the spring of 1974.
