Lacey Berns was a three-year letter winner for the women’s soccer team from 1998-2000 and a four-year member of the women’s basketball program.

As a soccer player, Burns led the Quakers offensively in each of her first two seasons on the soccer team. During the 1998 season, Burns scored 11 goals and added four assists for 26 total points. Burns had her best statistical season in 1999 as she scored 14 goals while assisting on 11 others for a team-high 39 total points. The team finished 11-5-2 that season including nine-game unbeaten streak from Sept. 4 to Oct. 6. In total, the three-time All-North Coast Athletic Conference honoree scored 30 goals, dished out 18 assists, and totaled 78 points.

As a basketball player, Burns lettered all four years on campus. As a senior, she captained a team that finished 17-10 overall and fell an overtime loss to Ohio Wesleyan away from a berth in the NCAA Division III Women’s Basketball Tournament. For her career, Burns averaged 5.4 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game. Burns played in 99 career games while starting in 70.
