Patty Wonnell Brink was a two-sport star in field hockey and lacrosse at Earlham College.

In field hockey, Patty Wonnell Brink was named the Most Valuable Player for the Quakers in 1989. She earned a spot on the Field Hockey Coaches Association All-Star Second Team in 1991 and followed that with an All-North Coast Athletic Conference First Team selection in 1992. Nationally, she was the NCAA Woman of the Year for Field Hockey in 1993.

In Lacrosse, she was All-NCAC Second Team in 1992-93, while making the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association All-Regional Team in 1993.

She received the Kathryn Weber Senior Scholar-Athlete Award in 1993.

After leaving Earlham, she received a B.S. in Nursing from Johns Hopkins University and currently works at the University of Michigan.
