Jacob Naegeli has been inducted into the Hall of Fame for excellence in cross country and track and field.

Jacob won the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference championship meet, and was named Heartland Collegiate Athletics Conference Runner of the Year in 2011. He also earned HCAC First Team Honors and NCAA All-Region recognition twice in his career with the Quakers in 2010 and 2011.

In track and field, Jacob was named All-HCAC four times across three different events. He was selected as the Earlham cross country Most Outstanding Runner four consecutive years from 2008-2011, and was the George Van Dyke Outstanding Senior Athlete in 2012.

Jacob’s experience in learning from his teammates encouraged him to pursue a career in education, now having served as an art teacher for 11 years. He has spent the last three years teaching visual art at Lombardi Middle School in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and plans to move to northwest Washington with his wife, Cory Mathieu ’11, and son, Oliver.
