Earlham College

Owen Huntsman enrolled at Earlham in 1922 and excelled in all sports. As a senior track start, he was a member of the undefeated track team. He served as the athletic director and coached football, basketball and track from 1935 to 1949. He was Little State javelin champion in 1925 and 1926, and he tied for the high jump title in 1923. He won five events at the 1926 Hoosier Relays and placed second in the Penn Relays decathlon.
