The 1970 Earlham College baseball team set a school record for the most wins in a season as the Quakers went 26-7 for the year. The team tied for the Hoosier College Conference title and participated in NAIA District 21 Tournament with a 2-2 record.
 
Led by Earlham Hall of Fame member Ron Williams, the Quakers had Chris Juday, Steve Webster and Mark Vagedes also made the NAIA All-District 21 Team.
 
The team members were: Gerry Badovinac, Jerry Banks, Jim Bowden, Chuck Cunningham, Marty Cziraky, Larry Farley, John Flanders, Chris Juday, Marvin “Bud” McCollum, Mark Meyer, Bill Moore, Bill Rees, Mike Sloan, Jerry Stroud, Tim Tesch, Mark Vagedes, Steve Webster and Ron Williams. The team was coached by Rick Carter.
