Earlham College

Matt Rayl was a four year member of the Earlham football team in the late 90’s and set a career sack mark that has yet to be broken.

A 1998 graduate, Rayl tallied 248 tackles and 36.5 sacks and five fumble recoveries for the Quakers. He played in all 40 games during his tenure on the defensive line.

Matt was named to the honorable mention list in the NCAC in 1996, and earned second team All-NCAC honors in 1997. He was also a member of the second team All-North region in Don Hansen’s Football Gazette.
