Earlham College

The most prestigious award a high school male Indiana basketball player can receive is the Arthur L. Trester Award. The winner of this award must be an outstanding athlete, scholar and citizen. While at Earlham, Trester participated in baseball and basketball. He served as the commissioner for the Indiana High School Athletic Association for 22 years and developed the most successful basketball tournament in the nation. He is the only Earlham graduate who is a member of the National Basketball Hall of Fame.
